Renew Facility Certificate Anesthesia & Sedation Regulation: Public Comments Due: Friday, Jan. 31 The Kentucky Board of Dentistry has filed a proposed revision to 201 KAR 8.550 , an administrative regulation related to anesthesia and sedation. The public may submit written comments on the proposed amendment to Jeff Allen, Kentucky Board of Dentistry, 312 Whittington Pkwy, Ste 101, Louisville, KY 40222 or via email to jeffrey.allen@ky.gov . Comments should be received by Jan. 31, 2020. Proposed Sedation Rule Nominations Being Accepted for Open Board Seat The Kentucky Board of Dentistry is accepting nominations for an open Board seat to be appointed on July 1, 2020. To be eligible for a seat on the Board you must: Have been a practicing dentist residing and licensed in the Commonwealth for at least the last five years; Be in good standing with the Board and without disciplinary action in the past eight years (excluding private admonishment); Not receive compensation from, or have a financial interest in, any dental college or dental department of any institution of learning, dental supply business, or any entity over which the board has regulatory authority or sets standards for. You must be nominated in writing by a Kentucky licensed dentist by close of business on Feb. 17. Nominations may be emailed to KBD@ky.gov or mailed to KBD Nominations, 312 Whittington Pkwy, Ste 101, Louisville, KY 40222. Voting will open Feb. 25 and close on March 12. The top three names will be forwarded to the Governor's office for consideration. Do You Have a KOG Account?
